Golden State Hair Transplant will monitor your recovery and growth at scheduled intervals, with the exact appointment schedule provided by the clinical team. During these visits, we will examine healing in the donor and recipient areas and monitor FUT donor closure when applicable. We will evaluate early hair growth, document your progress. We will discuss with you temporary shedding and monitor your hair surrounding the transplant, We will also answer your questions and address your concerns at this time and evaluate the developing results.
It is important to note that during your recovery you do not have to wait for a scheduled appointment if you have a concern. Golden State Hair Transplant will remain available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout your recovery.
When to Contact the Clinic
Some redness, crusting, itching, tenderness, numbness, and temporary swelling can be expected during early healing. However, you should contact Golden State Hair Transplant promptly if you experience symptoms that are severe, worsening, or different from what was explained in your postoperative instructions.
These may include increasing pain, excessive bleeding, spreading areas of redness and heat, unusual drainage, fever, or any other symptom that causes concern.
Growth Takes Time
The gradual nature of hair growth is one of the most important things to understand after transplantation. The early shedding and resting phases are expected parts of the process, while visible growth generally begins around the third month and continues developing over the following year.
With attentive aftercare, scheduled follow-up, and direct access to the Golden State Hair Transplant team, we will guide you through each stage from your first postoperative wash to the continued maturation of your result.
